Lenovo XClarity Orchestrator
This product eGuide explains the many features, benefits and integration of the XClarity Orchestrator and how it works with XClarity Administrator across multiple sites to view overall health of managed resources.
What is Lenovo XClarity Orchestrator?
Lenovo XClarity Orchestrator (LXCO) is a centralized platform designed for monitoring, managing, provisioning, and analyzing environments with a large number of devices. It integrates with existing resource managers like Lenovo XClarity Administrator and Schneider Electric EcoStruxure IT Expert, allowing users to oversee the health of devices, collect inventory data, view event logs, and apply updates across multiple sites. LXCO can manage up to 10,000 devices through an unlimited number of resource managers.
How does LXCO support provisioning updates?
Lenovo XClarity Orchestrator enables users to maintain current software levels on managed resources by utilizing an updates catalog. It allows for the identification of resources needing updates based on custom criteria and facilitates the deployment of these updates in the correct order. LXCO supports deploying updates to Lenovo XClarity Administrator resource managers and firmware updates to devices managed by XClarity Administrator.
What are the licensing options for LXCO?
Lenovo XClarity Orchestrator requires a software entitlement license for use. There are several licensing options available, including a standard license for managing a single device, a license for Edge Client devices, and an analytics license for devices supporting analytics functions. Users can initially try LXCO for free for 90 days, after which they must purchase the appropriate licenses to continue usage. Licensing compliance is based on the number of managed devices, and users have a grace period of 90 days to rectify any compliance issues.
